The biggest ship in the world: the Pioneering Spirit. TPS participates in the construction of this ship, similar in size to 8 football pitches.

We have 40 electricians and panel builders on secondment to the Pioneering Spirit. They work on the operating system and power supply of the Topsite Lift Systems (TLS) beams, which is one of the ship’s most important parts. These Topsite Lift Systems beams constitute a lift system required for the moving and removal of the topsites of oil rigs.

Even while our electricians carry out their tasks, developments continue causing many alterations and changes to be made during this process, so that our specialists’ connection work is repeatedly changed. TPS is open to and accommodates change in these matters. We are very proud of this cooperation with Bakker Sliedrecht Elektro Industrie BV and the Pioneering Spirit.
